    A bit cheesy...

    It's very sweet and heartwarming but hardly believable. A man who suffered so much, didn’t leave his house for 8 long years and didn’t lay eyes on a woman or any other human being (except for his maid) for 8 years wouldn’t have behaved in that way. <

    As I read, I have noticed a huge focus on returning Veterans. Some of the stories use this as a way to categorize and make the understanding of the man easy on the reader. Some use the specific experiences of war, the trauma, and darkness, to give us, the readers, an insight of sorts of what these warriors have gone through.
